Oops, I (re)did it again

I’ve been channeling my inner Britney the past few weeks, humming along to her iconic pop song and giggling to myself:

“Oops! I did it again.”

Except unlike Britney, I haven’t been playing with anyone’s hearts.

I’ve been redoing something important.

About a month ago I introduced a new free resource called The Clarity Kit. A downloadable set of questions, the Clarity Kit was intended to help you get unstuck using powerful reflection prompts.

I was excited to publish it, but also a bit hesitant. To be honest, I felt stuck.

I knew I wanted to share the Four Steps of Life Design – my framework to guide you into clarity and action. And I spent a lot of time working on that download.

But even after I shared it, something wasn’t sitting right with me. I knew deep down it wasn’t what I wanted it to be – what it NEEDED to be – to deliver the transformation I was aiming for.

So, I took a dose of my own medicine, and used the Four Steps to rethink my plan…

I paused to discover how I was actually feeling about the resource I’d developed, rather than shying away or avoiding my frustration with it.

I defined my goals and intention for this resource, and revised my criteria for what “success” looked like for it.

I imagined new tools and formats to deliver this important message to you.

And I iterated by trying out a few alternate flows and plans to determine the right step forward.

The result? The brand new, and totally improved, Clarity Kit!

Try this Out

So what’s different? First, the format – it’s now an on-demand video workshop!

And the content? Completely reworked.  And it’s so, so good!

Did it take extra work? Yes. Was it totally worth it to redo it? 1000%.

I’m sharing this for a couple of reasons.

First, because I would really love for you to check it out (even if you downloaded the old workbook, this is a completely new thing!).

But also – because I think this is a huge moment to practice what I preach:

  • Turn towards where you’re feeling stuck, and get curious.

  • Revisit your goals and be willing to update your plan.

  • Open your view and explore new ideas to bring your vision to life.

  • And take action. Messy action. Fast action. Because you can always go back and revise.

Just like I did.

Check out the Clarity Kit workshop – and let me know what you think!

What to Do Next

If you have a friend, colleague or family member who’s been feeling stuck, please share the Clarity Kit workshop with them.  I’d really love to get this into as many hands as possible – so, thanks in advance for spreading the word!

And if you’re in Richmond, VA on October 7th, I’m throwing a party! Part 1st birthday for my journal collection, and part Life Design School launch party – it’s going to be a blast.

Hit reply and I’ll send you all the details! I’d love to see you there.

Onward,
