Design Better Collaborations. Cultivate Brave Leaders. Unlock What’s Next.

I design and facilitate high-stakes strategic experiences for senior leaders and teams navigating complexity, change, and growth.

When organizations hire me, they are not just hiring a facilitator – they are hiring a thought partner with over 15 years of experience in:

  • Innovation and design thinking

  • Organizational change

  • Leadership development

  • Team dynamics and decision-making

  • Coaching and emotional intelligence

Every engagement integrates clear frameworks, practical teaching, and experiential design so leaders don’t just have a good conversation… they leave with a new way of seeing their work and themselves, and a plan they’re ready to implement.

Ashley expertly facilitated a recent strategy workshop aimed at creating shared definitions and thinking big! While ramping up to a brand new topic area, she designed a session that perfectly addressed our most critical questions, doing so in a fun and new way. We came away from the session energized, united, and excited to build together. I’d highly recommend Ashley for any group navigating or driving big change.

My Point of View

Across my work, I consistently teach and apply a few core beliefs:

  • Change happens through small, intentional risks, not grand plans

  • Innovation requires intention and reflection, not just new ideas

  • Teams move faster when people feel seen, trusted, and clear

  • Leaders must learn to manage both strategy and nervous systems

  • Decision-making improves when structure and humanity coexist

These ideas are woven into every agenda I design – through teaching, framing, and experience.

Let’s Design Your Next Gathering

I regularly design, facilitate and host events across industries and audiences. In the past year, this has included:

  • A 60-person, two-day practitioner convening for public service leaders across the U.S.

  • A 50-person, one-day stakeholder convening on Artificial Intelligence for a global philanthropy

  • An 8-person, two-day executive retreat for leaders at a global nonprofit

  • A 40-person, two-day gathering of state and federal civic technologists for a U.S. academic institution

  • A 60-person, three-day design thinking and innovation training for a global marketing team

How to Work with Me

Option 1: Strategic Leadership Retreat

Teaching, Facilitation + Decision-Making for Senior Leaders and Leadership Teams

(8-20 people)

These retreats combine thought leadership, coaching, and facilitation to help leaders align their teams, clarify priorities, and make meaningful decisions.

I often open these experiences by teaching core frameworks around:

  • How change happens

  • How teams manage risk and resistance

  • How leaders show up emotionally under pressure

These ideas then come to life through carefully designed conversations, exercises, and decision-making moments.

Includes:

  • 4–8 weeks of strategic design and preparation

  • Leadership interviews and planning conversations

  • Teaching and framing grounded in innovation and design thinking

  • 1.5–2 days of in-person facilitation

  • Custom activities for alignment, cohesion, and prioritization

  • Visual synthesis of insights and decisions

  • Post-retreat wrap-up and strategic reflection

  • Travel and on-site preparation

Outcome:

Leaders leave with shared language, sharper priorities, and a practical path forward – not just alignment, but momentum.

Option 2: Enterprise Convenings + Events

Thought-Leadership and Experience Design at Scale

(40-100+ people)

These engagements are designed for moments when organizations need to:

  • Align diverse stakeholders

  • Advance complex initiatives

  • Build trust across systems

  • Create shared direction

In addition to facilitation and MC support, I often:

  • Deliver opening and closing frames grounded in my perspective on change and innovation

  • Teach core concepts that participants carry throughout the event

  • Synthesize themes and decisions in real time

Includes:

  • End-to-end experience architecture

  • Teaching and framing around innovation, risk, and leadership

  • Agenda and participant journey design

  • Facilitation and/or MC support

  • Interactive sessions and decision-making structures

  • Speaker and panel flow design

  • Subcontractor coordination (when needed)

  • Visual synthesis and post-event reflection

Outcome:

Participants are engaged, grounded in shared frameworks, and aligned around what comes next.

All of my facilitation engagements are custom-designed and scoped in partnership with my clients. I work with a small number of organizations each year on high-stakes leadership retreats and convenings.

Additional Support

Many clients choose to continue working with me through:

  • 90-day leadership or strategy arcs

  • Quarterly or annual facilitation rhythms

  • Follow-on retreats or convenings

  • Executive coaching and decision support

  • Cascading experiences for additional teams
