Designing conversations that matter
I recently shared that I cancelled 95% of my meetings and calls for the month of May – and the response I’ve received has been nothing short of incredible.
I think the true lesson here is that authentic vulnerability is a bridge-builder, a connector that enables us to feel seen, recognized, and valued. It’s an approach I bring to all of my work, and certainly a theme of this month’s update.
Even with cutting back on some things, I’ve been fortunate to still get to support my clients, dream about and create new offerings, and announce new partnerships. I’m grateful for you, and I’m excited to see what the next month brings!
Designing the Conversations that Matter
In April I traveled to San Diego, CA to lead a stakeholder convening for an EdTech foundation. Thirty diverse participants from almost as many organizations – coming together to openly and honestly share how they are navigating the realities of A.I. in service of their work and their missions.
Funny enough… the best part of the day was the one thing most people dread in large groups: introductions! Together with my client, I created a fun, meaningful and quick (!) method for intros that left folks feeling connected and primed for productive conversation.
At the end of the session, my client shared:
“Working with Ashley could not have been smoother. We had a tight timeline and a diverse group of participants with different backgrounds, needs, and goals. Ashley leaned in and helped us create an event that exceeded our expectations. The feedback we have received has been tremendously positive, and we owe much of that success to Ashley’s skills as a thought partner and facilitator.”

25% of Students Miss School Because of This
Did you know that 1 in 4 kids in the U.S. has missed school because they couldn't afford period products?
I didn't know that statistic until recently, and it's stuck with me. Kids falling behind in class because of something that should be basic and accessible.
That’s why I’m proud to participate in The Profitable Coach Bundle – a selection of 40 curated, free resources for anyone running a business, starting a side hustle, or dabbling in solopreneurship. For every signup, $1 is being donated to Period.org.
I’m especially excited about:
